1} Ice pack

Ice has the ability to numb sensations. If you apply ice on the bitten area, you can get some relief from the itching and pain. Take a piece of ice on a piece of cloth and apply it on the affected area. Don’t keep the ice on the area for more than15/20 minutes.

If you have some over the counter antihistamine for your kid, you can use it at such times. These drugs block the histamines released by the body.
